and whose agreement shall be entered into by the Administration and @igned by the Hanaging Director, is to superintend the locomotives, together with the running sheds, workshops and carriage sheds of
the whole Railway, and to supervise the repairing, erecting, and
building of various kinds of oarriages, engines and machines in
the workshopa. Proposals and reports on all matters concerning
locomotives and workshops shall be submitted to the Managing Di-
rector for approval to their operation. All accounts of the loco-
motives, workshops, and carriage sheds of the different sections
sha 11 be kept in Chinese and English and shall, from time to
time, be reported in detail to the Managing Director, by whom
they will be forwarded to the Chief Accountant's Department for
auditing and accounting.
6. The Chief Storekeeper shall be appointed by the Director-
ate General of Chinese Imperial Railways. He shall superintend
the receipts of all stores and stationeries and the deliveries of
the same to the different departments of the Railway, subject to
the instructions and orders of the Managing Director in all mat-
ters concerning therewith. All statements of accounts in respect
of the receipts and deliveries of stores and stationeries shall
be kept in Chinese and English and shall from time to time be re-
ported in detail to the Managing Director by whom they will be forwarded to the Chief Accountant's Department for auditing and
accounting.
7.
The Chief Cashier shall be appointed by the Directorate General of Chinese Imperial Railways. He shall superintend all the money matters of the various departments of the whole Railway, sub- ject to the instructions and orders of the Managing Director in all
matters concerning the receipts and payments of money.
